Slow Changes are Real changes
"The path of entrepreneurship is not a hundred-meter dash — it's a marathon through fog and fire. Stamina, not speed, wins the race."
It’s Getting Clearer Now
June 14, 2025 – Mohd Maaz
Things are getting wild, but I’m starting to see the light. For months, I’ve been chasing the idea of “winning” fast—building mazmate.com, mastering AI automation, and landing clients in a sprint. But today hit me hard: winning in a few months? That’s a myth. Entrepreneurship isn’t a 100-meter dash; it’s a marathon through fog and fire. And you don’t win by sprinting like a rabbit—you win by moving like a turtle, steady and relentless.
This doesn’t mean slowing down your learning. I’m still diving deep into tools like n8n and exploring platforms like Bolt.new to build smarter workflows. But it does mean easing the pressure to do everything now. Small, consistent steps are the secret to long-term wins. That’s the mindset shift I’m embracing today.
Lessons from the Agency World
One big realization came from studying agencies. Most start strong, cash in quick, but hit a wall—what I call the inflexion point. It’s that make-or-break moment where growth stalls, and many give up or pivot to selling courses or digital products. Why? Because scaling alone is brutal. The key to crossing that point? A team. A solid team keeps you consistent, handles the chaos, and pushes you through. Without one, you’re stuck in the grind, burning out. This got me thinking about how I’ll structure mazmate.com as it grows—solo for now, but planning for a team when the time’s right.
Small Wins, Big Clarity
Today wasn’t just about mindset shifts. I made progress:
- Connected my blog to a custom domain: Check out blogs.mazmate.com! It’s a small step, but seeing my ideas live on my own corner of the internet feels like planting a flag.
- Explored Maker School: I’m curious about their approach to building and launching products, but I’m not sold yet. I’ll take it slow, test the waters, and see if it aligns with my vision for mazmate.com.
- Deepened my automation knowledge: I tinkered with a new n8n workflow that could save small biz owners hours on repetitive tasks. More on that soon!
The Marathon Continues
Every day, the fog clears a bit more. I’m not rushing to “win” anymore—I’m building, learning, and taking small steps toward a big vision. If you’re on a similar journey, here’s my advice: embrace the marathon. Pick one task to automate, one skill to learn, or one connection to make today. Those tiny moves add up.

Keep running, slow and steady,
